Our Story...
We’re parents, partners, and people — learning who we are after little ones.
When we first had children, something shifted.
Not just in our routines, but in our identities, our relationships, and the way the world felt around us. We didn’t have the words for it then.
Our journey into parenthood happened during a time when the world was quiet.
Baby groups were paused. Work continued. We were new to our town. And while our love for our child grew every single day — through first smiles, tiny milestones, and moments that brought us to tears — there was also a deep sense of isolation.
We were together, yet we missed something essential: community.
There was no one to say, “This is normal.”
No one to casually invite us out for a coffee, a walk, or a grown-up conversation that wasn’t about schedules or sleep.
LALO was born from that space.
From the belief that no one should have to navigate parenthood — or life after becoming a parent — alone. That it’s okay to love your children deeply and still miss parts of yourself. That it’s okay to feel tired, uncertain, joyful, guilty, hopeful — sometimes all at once.
LALO is about creating a space where parents can come together without judgement.
A place where different perspectives are welcome, where we listen as much as we speak, and where connection doesn’t have to look a certain way.
Sometimes we’ll chat and laugh, or we’ll sit quietly together or we’ll have the deeper conversations we’ve been holding inside.
Whether in person or online, in busy seasons or uncertain times, LALO exists so there’s always a place for real connection — because when we take care of ourselves, we show up better for our families too.
Life is better when it’s shared.
